The Professional Master’s Program in Computer Science& Engineering offers you access to the University of Washington’s Department of Computer Science & Engineering’s first-class faculty and curriculum in a student group that includes the best and brightest software designers and engineers in the Seattle area.

Consistently ranked among the top 10 computer science programs in the country, the UW Department of Computer Science & Engineering developed this flexible, affordable part-time master’s program so you can continue to work while you advance your career and keep your knowledge up-to-date in this fast-moving field.

Courses typically meet one evening per week and cover a wide range of topics in computer science. You choose courses that fit your interests, and supplement evening courses with the colloquium series to complete the 40 credits required to earn your Master’s in Computer Science & Engineering. Complete a total of eight courses and eight colloquia credits to earn your degree.
