PMP Summer Course

PMP Students,
 
The department has decided not to offer a PMP Summer course in 2007. We
sincerely hope this will not disappoint too many PMP students.
 
Choosing a PMP summer course has always been a challenge. Because only
20% of PMP students enroll in the summer course we try to avoid offering
a mainstream PMP course that many would miss. Additionally, UW faculty
are hired for the academic year only which means during the summer they
typically engage in research, consultant work, or travel and are
unavailable to instruct summer courses of any kind.
 
Over the past several weeks we have been trying to identify a course and
instructor that would meet our PMP standards, but have been
unsuccessful. Rather than offer an inferior course we have chosen to
not offer a summer course at all this year.
 
The 2007-2008 PMP course offerings are expected to be announced by the
first week of June. Registration for Autumn 2007 will begin on August
20th.
